E-Portfolio Introduction 

I am an aspiring school administrator.  I have been teaching for 12 years in both elementary and middle school.  I have been a math specialist and a math coach as well as teacher.  I went into education to challenge students to achieve their best self.  This website contains documents that represent the educational leadership standards.  

Leadership Philosophy

"A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.” (Allen et al, 2016). I believe leadership is about empowering your followers to be independent thinkers. I will give honest and constructive feedback to help guide them to a common goal. My team members will be able to trust that I believe in their abilities and encourage them in their independent work. I believe that motivating staff to become lifelong learners will guide them toward self-efficacy and autonomy. Through mutual respect and understanding we will be able to accomplish our goals and have a positive and nurturing school community.
